Themes in my writings about New Media revolve around social issues and their implications, the market place, and inequality. Across all of my pieces tinges of these sentiments can be found. The digital world is a wonderful place. The evolution of technology is moving at a very rapid pace, so much so, that we do not realize the large role that New Media, the Internet, and technology play in our lives. Access is so automatic and its presence is so engrained that it can easily go under the radar. Dial up no longer exists because technology has pinpointed areas of inconvenience and eliminated them while at the same time pinpointing areas of potential growth and building consumerism empires. It is important to study New Media and the proliferation of technology because they have become extensions of people, forming cultures, ideas, markets, and revolutions.
